Queer Therapists Talk Wayward

Episode 6 -"Mirror” 

Fabulous and nerdy queer/trans psychotherapists Avery (they/them) and Em (they/them), team up to deep dive into the psychology of Netflix's Limited Series Wayward starring Mae Martin.

They discuss major themes in the show like the mother wound, queer/trans representation, filming production elements, and seek to answer big questions like "what's really going on with all that brie?" 

Each episode invites a guest for even more nerdy cuteness. 

Bobbi Rose, a Marriage and Family Therapist in California who works with teens and adults, joins them to discuss Episode 6 “Mirror”

Bobbi grew up in the South among the sawgrass and the pines, to the rhythm of cicadas and the flashing of fireflies. Their early childhood was full of equal parts adventure and trauma, neglect and love. They knew they were queer from an early age, but it took them until college to really claim their big, beautiful queer identity. They found their place of belonging in the LGBTQIA2S+ community and have been Out and Proud ever since. They live in Sonoma County with their amazing partner of 17 years and their lil floofy dog. They believe in and fight for liberation, equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging for us all!!
